Every writer is always learning. Craft books are a great way to continue learning as you write. I’ve put together a list for you to access on Bookshop.org. Proceeds to your purchases there go to local booksellers and a small portion to me—feel free to buy books from your favorite bookstore.
Reedsy is a great place to find all sorts of support for writers, especially if you publish your own books. From professional editors and beta readers to a free formatting tool, you can find tons of resources at this site!
Often people don’t know exactly how to format a manuscript. One of the best guides out there is the From Keyboard to Printed Page from SCBWI. Check it out if you want to make your submissions professional!
It’s hard to know how to successfully critique so your notes can be heard, and hard to be open-minded to hear the notes of others. Here’s a guide to get you started!

I could not publish without all these amazing people and their diverse skillsets!
Robert Thibeault at TeaBow Designs
Robert Thibeault is a great friend and brilliant designer. He does a ton for me—my workbook covers, my workbook book design, and the book design for Friends & Anemones. He also developed the logo for my brand, Creatively WIN, and the logo for Pocket Moon Press. Right now he’s developing his own graphic novels! Check out Teabow Studios and hire Bob for your marketing and publishing needs (but don’t take up ALL his time—I still need him!)

Kristen Wixted is my co-conspirator in the biggest endeavors! She is the idea maven behind the Writers’ Loft Press anthologies and Little Book Locker. She’s an amazing publisher and editor, and I’m so grateful to be able to work with her every day! She’s repped by Moe Ferarra at Bookends and has a PB coming out in 2021! Give her some love!
